Canoes & Adventure Rafts

We tackle the Salza in a slightly more adventurous way, in canoes or mini-rafts

Paddling down the Salza in a canoe or on small, sporty adventure rafts combines the enjoyment of stunning natural scenery with a thrilling dose of adventure and challenge.

In a canoe – also known as a Canadian canoe – two people at a time can experience the Salza in a particularly immersive way, steering the narrow boat through the current themselves. Accompanied by an experienced guide acting as a safety kayaker, or as part of a rafting tour, the trip becomes a safe yet varied adventure in the great outdoors. The small adventure rafts can accommodate 3 to 4 people and, thanks to their manoeuvrability, provide plenty of action on the wild river. Particularly during low water levels, these compact boats guarantee plenty of fun, excitement and a genuine outdoor experience on the Salza.
Canoes and adventure rafts are a great sporting alternative to rafting, especially during low water levels.
