Contacting us
If you contact us via the form on the website or by email, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of any follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Web analytics
Our website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., with its registered office at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This involves the use of cookies, which enable an analysis of how users utilise the website. The information generated in this way is transmitted to Google’s server in the USA and stored there. You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that no cookies are stored.
We have entered into a corresponding contract with the provider regarding data processing on our behalf.
Our objective, in accordance with the GDPR (legitimate interest), is to improve our services and our website. As the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised.
Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough geolocation is possible.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96(3) of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) and Article 6(1)(a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
An adequacy decision (implementing acts) by the European Commission has been in place for Google since 10 July 2023. The European Commission continuously monitors developments in the relevant third countries and revokes, amends or suspends the decisions by means of implementing acts if information becomes available indicating that the third country does not ensure an adequate level of protection. User data is retained for a period of 14 months.

Mouse tracking
Our aim, in accordance with the GDPR (legitimate interest), is to improve our services and our website. We therefore use Hotjar to better understand our users’ needs and to optimise the content on this website. With the help of Hotjar’s technology, we gain a better understanding of our users’ experiences (e.g. how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click on, what they like and dislike, etc.) and this helps us to tailor our services based on user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies (see above) and other technologies to collect information about our users’ behaviour and their devices (in particular, the device’s IP address (recorded and stored only in anonymised form), screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), information about the browser used, location (country only), and the preferred language for viewing our website). Hotjar stores this information in a pseudonymised user profile. Neither Hotjar nor we use this information to identify individual users or combine it with other data relating to individual users. Data storage via our online shop
For the purpose of contract fulfilment, we store the following data: title, first name and surname, address, email address and any optional data entered by the user (company name, address details, telephone number). The data you provide is necessary for the performance of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. No data is transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of credit card details to the processing banks/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/courier service commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods, and to our tax adviser to fulfil our tax obligations.
If the purchase process is abandoned, the data stored by us will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data relating to the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the statutory tax retention period (7 years).
Furthermore, the data comprising name, address, goods purchased and date of purchase will be stored until the expiry of the product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96(3) of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) and Article 6(1)(a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for the performance of a contract) of the GDPR.
Registration and user account
Users of our online shop may optionally create a user account. During the registration process, we inform users of the required details (mandatory fields and optional details). We use the data entered during registration for the purpose of using our service. Users may be informed via email about information relevant to the service or registration, such as changes to the scope of the service or technical updates.
Should users close their user account, their data will be deleted from that account; an exception to this is data which must be retained for commercial or tax law reasons in accordance with Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR. Users are responsible for backing up any data in the event of termination before the end of the contract. We are entitled to irrevocably delete all user data stored during the term of the contract.
On the basis of both our legitimate interests and the users’ interests in protection against misuse and other unauthorised use, we store the IP address and the time of the respective action taken by the user whenever a user utilises our registration and login function in connection with their user account. IP addresses are anonymised or deleted after 7 days at the latest.
As a general rule, we do not pass on the data to third parties; exceptions are situations in which we need to pursue our claims or in which we must comply with a legal obligation pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.
Newsletter
You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process any additional details that users provide voluntarily.
To send you our newsletter, we require your email address and your confirmation that you consent to receiving the newsletter. As soon as you have subscribed to the newsletter, we will therefore send you a confirmation email containing a link to confirm your subscription.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation request to the following email address: [EMAIL ADDRESS].
We will then immediately delete your data relating to the newsletter.
Google Re/Marketing Services
Our aim, in accordance with the GDPR (legitimate interest), is to improve our services and our website. We therefore use the marketing and remarketing services (hereinafter ‘Google Marketing Services’) provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’).
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby guarantees compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
With the help of Google Marketing Services, we can display adverts for and on our website in a targeted manner, so as to present users only with those adverts that potentially reflect their interests. To do this, Google executes a code and uses so-called (re-)marketing tags, which are used to store an individual cookie in the user’s browser. For information on the use of cookies, see above.
The information collected may also be combined by Google with similar information from other sources. When the user subsequently visits other websites, they may be shown adverts tailored to their interests.
In addition, Google Analytics records the user’s IP address, but this is immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). As a result, only a rough geolocation is possible; the adverts are not managed and displayed for a specific individual, but for the cookie holder, regardless of who that cookie holder is. This does not, of course, apply if a user has expressly permitted Google to process the data without this pseudonymisation. The information collected about users by Google marketing services is transmitted to Google and stored on Google’s servers in the USA. The user’s IP address is not combined with the user’s data held within other Google services.
We use, amongst other things, cookies from the Google marketing service ‘Google AdWords’; we may also display third-party advertisements based on the Google marketing service ‘AdSense’ and its cookies. We also use ‘Google Tag Manager’ to integrate the analytics and marketing services offered by Google into our website and to manage them centrally.
Social media presence
We maintain online presences on social networks and platforms in order to communicate with users, prospective customers and customers who are active there. When accessing these networks and platforms, the terms and conditions and data processing policies of the respective operators apply.
Unless otherwise stated in our privacy policy, we process users’ data when they communicate with us on social networks and platforms.
Use of Facebook social plugins
Our legitimate interest under the GDPR is to improve our services and to analyse, optimise and ensure the efficient operation of our website. We therefore use social plugins (‘plugins’) from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugins may display content on the website such as graphics, text posts or videos, or interactive elements.
