For those who, for a change, don’t want to spend their days of adventure in the Gesäuse on a raft, there are plenty of other great activities on offer in our region.
Team spirit is essential when building a raft on the River Salza. You can then round off the day in style with a barbecue at the camp.
On the Flying Fox Alpin, you can see the Salza Valley from a different perspective. High above a via ferrata, we whizz along the zipline from one rock to the next. A brilliant activity for those with a head for heights!
If you don’t want to go quite so high, the Freelife Adventure Park in Palfau is just the ticket! Great fun for young and old alike.
If a raft is too big for you and you’re looking for a special white-water challenge, a canoe trip on the Salza is perfect. In pairs, you’ll set out to conquer the Salza in a canoe. You’ll have to steer it yourselves, under the supervision of a qualified guide, of course.
Another highlight is SUP (stand-up paddleboarding) on the Salza.
