Rafting + Canyoning Day Trip
The perfect touring combination for beginners
Spectacular abseils down thundering waterfalls, exhilarating white water and plenty of action await you on this unforgettable adventure weekend.
On the first day, you’ll enjoy a varied rafting trip – depending on conditions, on the Salza or the Enns. Together, you’ll tackle thrilling rapids and enjoy the impressive natural scenery.
The next day, the adventure continues with an action-packed canyoning tour: natural water slides, crystal-clear pools and thrilling abseiling sections guarantee fun, adrenaline and unforgettable moments in the gorge.
The meeting point is our Basecamp Salza, where you’ll be kitted out with all your equipment. We’ll then drive together to the starting point of the rafting tour. After a detailed safety briefing, the adventure begins on one of the most beautiful white-water rivers in the Alps.
The Salza offers varied white water ranging from easy to moderate difficulty and delights with its turquoise-blue colour, stunning natural surroundings and two optional jumping spots. A particular highlight is the journey through the impressive Palfauer Gorge.
After the rafting tour, we’ll refuel with an included Gesäusebauern gourmet snack featuring regional specialities.
In the afternoon, we move on to canyoning. After a short approach and a safety briefing, we explore a varied gorge featuring natural slides, crystal-clear pools and several abseil sections. To round off the day, a spectacular double waterfall awaits you, featuring an abseil section around 18 metres high – the perfect highlight of an unforgettable day in the great outdoors.
After the tour, we return to Basecamp Salza, where hot showers and, if you wish, a cool drink await you.
