Salza + Enns Day-long Rafting Tour

Experience Styria’s two most beautiful rafting rivers combined in one unforgettable adventure in just a single day!

In the morning, we’ll go rafting down the idyllic, crystal-clear Salza, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. In the afternoon, the Enns in the Gesäuse National Park offers a real sense of adventure with its exhilarating rapids.

If time and the water level of the Enns allow, we will explore the impressive Bruckgraben Canyon in the Gesäuse as part of our tour along the Enns

  • Meeting point: Base on the Salza in Großreifling
Our first river is the Salza.  This small but scenically stunning river delights with varied currents up to the medium difficulty level. Particular highlights include two optional spots to take a dip in the cool water, as well as the impressive passage through the picturesque Palfauer Gorge at the end of the stage.
  • Afterwards, we’ll take a relaxed lunch break at base camp. To recharge our batteries, a regional ‘Gesäuse gourmet snack’ awaits, featuring specialities such as pork loin, bacon, cheese, various spreads and apple juice – all sourced from local farmers.
  • In the afternoon, we continue down the Enns: here you can expect lively, and at times powerful, white water with challenging sections such as the ‘Schlusskatarakt’ and the ‘Gesäuse-Eingang’. In between, calmer sections provide the opportunity to jump into the water or simply enjoy the impressive mountain scenery of the national park.
